Before and After, Graphic Design, header

I have known Mikki over at Divine & Debt Free for well over a year now. She is one of my Financial Peace University buddies.
Recently, she let me know she was struggling with getting a good header up on her site, and I told her I would hook her right on up.
I have created stuff for her before so she knew she could count on me to come through.
Her original header was in desperate need of some tender loving care, so I got to work. I immediately had a challenge when she sent me the picture that she wanted presented on the header. It was of her and two friends and they were pretty close together so cropping just her out took some work.
After duplicating the pink background from her previous header I decided to try another color. I also wanted to use an accent color to add some contrast to all of the pink.

*Header may not be live up on her blog yet.
Now Mikki has something she really loves and will compliment her material about becoming debt free very well. Keep up the great work Mikki, you will be debt free before you know it!!

Engaged Marriage – Before

Engaged Marriage – AFTER

Custom graphic of the week goes to Engaged Marriage.
I will not feature a design each and every week, but I will do so regularly. This week—and probably next week’s too—I wanted to feature a header/banner that I created for Dustin over at Engaged Marriage.
These colors were so great to work with. He had a very nice color scheme, he was just missing some personality. I tried to find a way to unite the two words to symbolize marriage. I did not want to change his text because he had already gained an audience and I am big on branding. People already recognized the font, why change it?
I also thought it would be a great idea to feature a picture of the happily married couple on the banner. He was a tad unsure of whether or not he wanted his mug on the front of his blog, but without any arm twisting at all, he acknowledged the importance of such a gesture. After all, it is a blog about marriage. What a great picture too!
I was very pleased with this banner, and he was too. With his recent upgrade to Frugal Theme, this banner will be a nice addition. He will be able to use this image for a long time before deciding to upgrade again. Hey Dustin, the question is—will you be coming back to Logos4You.Net for all of your custom graphic needs?
It was nice working with you my friend.
ENJOY!
